Mellow spot - Hi I'm from England and surf Boutrouilles when I visit my Wife's family in Guisseny. Outside the peak few weeks of summer, when it can get a bit like teenage boadyboard soup, this is a laid back, beautiful break with fast powerful waves especially to the left of the big rock. The locals are cool, give them respect. Watch out for local Dom Giry, he rips. The poor summer of 2004 saw some good waves in a usually poor month of August - I had a good holiday away from the crowds.Amazing white sand makes it look tropical, but don't forget your 5mm suit in autumn.

vive kerlouan! - This spot is anything but choss! if you've seen the standard of a lot of the local boogers you'll realise that it cant be crap if they are as good as they are! it rocks! great bodyboard wave when its on, surf a bit before high tide or at high tide and you will score barrels and ramps as long as there is a swell. and dont say im wrong because i hav 15 years going there under my belt and my previous generations hav been going there for donkeys years too and theyve seen it BIG lots of times.
