Needs a big westerly swell to start cranking. Best surfed on a rising low tide. Also the scramble down the cliff can be hazardous. I surfed this place years ago whilst studying in Brest so not sure about crowds now but this is an epic spot when everywhere else, like La Palud is big and blown out, so well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Le Spot!! - i've been surfing this spot the first months of 2004. I known real goods spots but this one is really great and epic. Easy paddling out thanks to the big channel, always offshore as it works with big storms and overall very smily locals. Don't miss it!! Now i'm living close to Hossegor in les Landes. But be sure that when i see stormy conditions this wave reallymisses me.Just one thig about it, it can work strictly atmid tide even if it's rising or falling. I've a photo of this spot i'll try to send it here next time!!
