Tinos Greece is one of the biggest islands of the Cyclades. Tinos is famous, among religious, for its huge Church of Panagia (Virgin) which has a miraculous icon and is attracting thousands of pilgrims from all over the country on the 15th of August, feast day of the Virgin. The island has many picturesque mountainous villages, superb dove cotes which are embellishing it and a tradition in marble carving.

- u funny man....locals..lol...its greece mate...there are no locals...Tinos is not where u should travel to to find waves..if you are going there...because youre girlfriend has a nice house there or something like that, and it is summer, bring a board, if there are strong north winds they generate rideable waves on the islands northern beaches

i've been there - hey guys,i'm a surfer from athens,i've been there, the waves are good, about 3ft (most of the time)you can find biger...the spot is good with north winds calld "meltemi" ,during the summer...with meltemi the wind stops around 7 o'clock at afternoon so it becomes glassy and it is grate...the wave is a litle fast and the shore is a litle bit rocky,so be careful if you are a beginer...
