watch out for those damn weaverfish! - Have surfed here a couple of times. Nice chilled out spot but beware of the weaverfish! Don't forget your booties.

been too long - carranisky, is now crowded every weekend except middle of winter, lots of beginners and locals are not so friendly anymore when its good well be irish standards anyway, not that powerful either, long board all the way except for a few exceptional but great days every year, x local

Guess i was lucky - That was my only time up there and the waves were 4ft in regular sets, so i got it at the right time

no title - That beach in the photo hardly ever works, needs a maxed out swell at c'niskey which is close and gets a wave when everywhere is flat. bring your longboard and have some fun, (l'burgh) locals chilled out to the max.

pic - The best spot along this beach is Carrowniskey beach - that's where the pic is of. Locals are incredibly friendly, guess thats because it's such a remote spot
