- sorry..the photo of the big wave is the wave you can't surf, the other one is ok, bit wind exposed though...

- this wave is not even surfable, it's a giant open ocean shorebreak. it breaks in front of Porto Moniz tide pools on an exposed shelf. i'd like to see those norcal boys down here...good luck septic tanks!

Impressive - Wannasurf is one one my favorite web sites, and I've probably seen every wave on the website. Photo #4 here though, impressed me enough for me to set it as background on my PC screen desktop. Thanks for the site!
