Park by the church.Much better spot then hoddevika. When hoddevika is flat go to ervika,when hoddevika is head high,go to ervika...always bigger.Good spot,low tide fast wave. High tide more mellow. The most people surfing here are not locals.
Atmosphere
Its great to include a surf at Stadtlandet(what this area is called) with summertime skiing at Stryn. Camp in the tiny town of Ervik. In Ervik there is a nice campsite with toilet and shower, only 3 minutes drive from the surf.

Sand - this spot depends a lot on the sandbanks, this year its been crappy since the winterstorms has taken a lot of the sand...

about the wreck - it provides a nice take off bank, left and right, but look out for the left because there some crazy bits of metal and shit really pointing out, buddy of mine nearly kebab'd his foot thru it... so be careful when going left especially! awsome set up and if ur really cool, u may even get to camp on one of the farmers fields (ask permission)... a bottle of jd often helps :))
