Thanks to all - Just spent two weeks surfing this spot in June 07. Locals friendly and waves mostly very good with a couple of excellent days. Bars and food cheap. Gonna go back.

- i went here in july for 2 weeks and stayed in the campsite got waves about half the trip was pretty chilled just smoked and shit meet a few girls, theres better spots though - not guna tell u bithcs though ha!

Best Spot in North Portugal - I've surfed most of the best spots in northern portugal and i can assure you that Espinho (along with Cabedelo) are the best waves in the north although espinho is a more frequent wave and mostly right breaking. Just wish there were less spongers all around. Good luck. Good waves.
