totally depends on the wind. best if none. as the swell builds on the reef, it will break further out in front of a rock formation (hence rocky point). easy takeoffs, but watch the inside bowl as it sucks up off a shallow area of the reef. when larger, itºs easier to speed past this section.
Atmosphere
pretty relaxed scene. nicer shoreline scenery than other spots near porto. lots of chicks in bikinis too.
General
a worthwhile venture if looking for a spot close to the city.

rocky point, porto. portugal - watch the tides. severe inside suckup and rip. that picture is probably at that suckup spot, but at a higher tide.

How do I - Hi heading to Porto for a couple of days, would like to get a shot of this reef, if anyone can give me the name of the beach / village that I should drive to to find it. Cheers C
