lonlywindsurfer - Hey, "lonelywindsurfer" You mixup some things: With no waves, You are only a boardsailor! Remember - NO WAVES - NO SURF - NO WINDSURF.
So stay away from Tarifa, and, if You wanna do windsurfing, go to Maui instead.

Empty in winter - The posts above are from ppl who ahve gone to tarifa in the peak month - Summer. I kitesurf and I can tell you it is bloody crowded. I have also been in winter and 1) the waves are much bigger 2) it is empty!

lonlywindsurfer - there is no fucking waves there....only windsurfers....so you stupid surfers stay away from there or i will run you over with my windsurfer...ahhahahahheehehhehe

Great when its raining - Too many kite-surfers make this beach far too bust most of the time but its a good place to go if its raining. see pic.

EMPTY??? - It´s crowded as hell every time it gets good and even when it doesn´t. Closes out a lot. Better head off further up the coast or hop on a ferry for Maroc.

head to morocco instead - morocco is very near and way higher quality
tarifa is very poor.
