It´s a beach break next to "la salvaje" which is 850metres long with dark sand, surrounded by cliffs. It´s easy to get there, you have to drive to algorta and then take the road to the coast. It has a parking right on the top of the cliff. Then you´ll have to walk down the cliff following a road and you´ll see the beach. The beach has two waves. The main one (the best) is a lefthander that breaks next to the cliff on the left hand of the beach, it has three barrell sections. The second wave, is also a lefthander on the beach, but It´s not as good as the other one.
Atmosphere
It´s a very calm and quiet beach, It never gets crowded, so if you are a lefthands lover, then it´s a good chance to try it.
General
It´s not the best wave on the area (Mundaka and Meñakoz are not far away) but if you wanna surf on your own long lefts and make some barrels, that´s a good option to choose.

Azkorri - Works best in low tide. Can be gnarley entry if you dont time it right. There are two waves on this beach. One in the center which is a decent left hander and then farther down the beach by the old observatory building is the "Acantilado" which is a left hander that can get big and give sick rides. When Mundaka is firing, so will this wave. Some of the best sessions of my life at this wave. Watch out for El Tripode...a chill local who sports a footlong penis unsheathed. Respect the Locals!!!!

For the hard times - Good wave, can be pretty long but needs a higher background swell to work than La Salvaje or Sopelana. Definitively a good choice when it's unmanageable in these latter spots.
