Quiet plentzia - This spot locates inside a natural protected bay. It has to be terribly big outside for this place to be worth a visit (not more than a handfuld of days/year)

plencia - There are several peaks on this wide sandy beach. The wave that breaks next to the rivermouth on the left of the bay (usually lefthander) will break on low tide and is not very powerful.Beware of the strong current that will pull you in and out of the river, especially with strong tides. The wave breaking in the middle of the bay(picture no.1) is called "el sanatorio" and gets good on mid tide but gives short rides, best not to try it on low tide, unless you dont mind eating sand and the risk of snapping your board. This beach is a good option for big days, especially if you are a beginner or just dont like rocky beaches.
