Usually best spot to the north end of the beach, near to the rocks. But sand bars move around, and it can be worth taking a walk down the beach. Watch out for the seals!

When does Bamburgh get working? - My girlfriends fokes live right by Bamburgh so I might turn ito a regular venue for me, but when does it get big? what weather should I look out for during the week sat at a desk? Would change me life if I could catch a few when I visit the in-laws, please addvise

danny - More northerly aspect than surrounding breaks, picks up more swell, but exposed. Is good on clean groundswell and holds size...but no defined channells so nitemare paddle out.
