Dodgy right point, beachbreak fast and powerful difficult access, Need low tide, Spectacular scenery good wave picks up a lot of swell like constantine and spekes. Pretty scary at high tide when you really should NOT be in the water. Epic break on its day. Check the beach out at LOW TIDE ONLY. There will be a fast scary looking righthand reef, on the right, wedgy peaks in the middle of the beach and a righthand point/sandbar to the left. His picks up a lot of swell and the wave is really powerful. To the south there are a few more isolated peaks which are mediocre but T’dock is truly a gem.
Atmosphere
General
It has no parking what-so-ever so any more than 5 cars and the farm access roads starts getting bloked. This is a delicate and sensitive area and can not cope with crowds, by that I mean the access route not the beach so much. This is a farm road used by people who have to live and work there and it's gonna really affect their lives (and maybe livelyhood) to have too many people turn up. You couldn't fit a mini-bus down that road for crying out load and there's NO turning area except the farm entrance.

summer - 6 to 8 ft perfection in winter - 4 people out. 2ft glass in summer 30 people out. Visiting surfers ie standups seem to have a real disrespect of the set up here. Do not obstruct the farm road, there are signs! Also rolling up with large vans/4wds full of people is not good. If you want to go for a surf with 5 mates and spread yourselves around the place with boards, bags and loudmouthness then I'd suggest Polzeath/Bude or Newquay you'll fit in nicely and be more than welcome. Think on.

Maybe it's just me... - ... but I talk to everyone when I'm out. Some fella I don't know pulls a big floater infront of me... I give hime a big fat thumbs up! We need to be nicer to each other. I've yet to see hostility solve anything... We're not fuckin skaters! (well some of us are but you know what I mean). Take a look at the up-coming mountainboarding scene. As things should be! PS Love this spot but haven't been here in an age!
