Drive down towards Lizard point, through Helston, past the Culdrose air base. When you pass 'Kynance garage' on the right, the turning to the cove is about 600 yards on the right, it's sign posted about one mile before the Lizard point. Drive down the lane, over the speed ramps and when there's a sign for the car park, turn left down the dirt track for 100 yards and park by the wooden posts. Walk 300 yards towards the ocean and you're over looking the break. DistanceTake a car WalkInstant access (< 5min) Easy to find?OK Public access?Public access Special accessDon't know |

Kynance Cove is owned by the National Trust. It produces a left hand wave at low tide, with a N. to N.E. wind. Well worth a trip to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Kynance - This is a dam good break its all the local tripe that slag it off cos they just charge and cant pull off any tricks. By far the best busting wedge on the south coast. can dredge so shallow so watch out on the wipeouts. Can only hold just overhead bigger than that its just white water. Most the locals are friendly its the agro north coasters that ruin it thinkin they are all it.

- can only really work properly with the right swell direction and size, wind isnt so much of an issue cus its real sheltered but when it comes together is a sick sponging wave. best thing about it is there is never stand ups :)
