Atmosphere

hardly anyone knows about this spot as so it is uncrowded. if you are willing to go exploring then you will find it. its called pointers because we were thinking of a name for it and we saw these walkers pointing at it from the cliff so we decided to call it pointers or pointys.

General

its good when the swell and wins are workin but its too unpredictable when choppy. it doesn't compare to porthleven but it is good fun and good practice for surfing reef breaks as it dies down onto sand just after the barrel section.

not give too much away? - what do you mean not give too much away, it is a well signposted and famous beach. any decent surfer would find it on a big swell when everything is blown out, it's enevitable.
