- Rocks
- Localism
This is basicly a BIG drop wave with enough face to slam a couple of times and then kick out before you lose your fins. Be carfull it gets very shallow at low tide!!! kicks a nice barrel!
Atmosphere
This is a really busy break. If its good its packed and everyone knows everyone else here so show proper respect and don't drop in or you could find yourself in a world of hurt!
General
If you want possibly the biggest drop the UK has to offer and don't mind insane crowds this might just be the place for you.

Prey For Serf - That does not look like Leavenworth! It looks like big Florida surf.

CROWDS - there just isn't enough people in the water these days. The other day surfing lev a wave came through that only had 3 people paddling for it - unlike the normal 10 with the 2 drop-ins. Cause eveyone did make an effort to sit in the inside so they could get in the way, which was really helpfull. Now people from Plymouth call themselves locals and REAL locals are being branded thugs for dissing out a few beatings. I hear the pier is getting well rough these days after that kid got stomped. Lev, if you looking for hassle free surf, don't bother. Bring your boxing gloves else wise. - from Porthleven Local for over 20 years who has seen it go right down the shit pipe.
