One of those places you arrive at and the potential is immediately obvious. Only saw it on a very small day but as the pictures show, the shape is perfect. Probably breaks along the edge of a reef when the swell gets big enough. Small river flows into the water near the harbour wall and probably accounts for the sand bar next to the harbour wall.

Would head here first when there is a good swell running. The headland gives good protection from NE and E winds close in to the harbour wall and appears to actually provide a slight "local offshore" when it would actually be cross shore.
