Drive West of Fraserburgh in the direction of Sandhaven. As soon as you get out of the town you'll see the back of a large fish factory to the left. Park at the dirt car park opposite and there it is.

 Additional Information

Westpoint is a classic long right hander that when it breaks is one of the best spots in the North East. It doesn't break that often and when it does it can get crowded. Respect the locals, do not drop in and you'll have fun. The spot is best at higher tides although it works all the way through. At low tide it can get very fast and sectiony. There is a big rock that lies in front of the wave that you can usually make it past- although this isn't always the case. The water quality at Westpoint is bad. The situation will improve dramatically when the new sewerage plant is completed late 2001.
