The infamous 'Mouth' is one of the most consistent spots in the area and picks up any swell running. There are waves to be had at both ends of this beach, but the Northern end tends to be where the better surfers head for.
The far corner holds steep hollow barrels resembling Broadhaven South. Like Broadhaven, the bigger swells hit the coast and refract off the cliffs forming perfect powerful wedges.
On big blown out days head for the opposite end where a smaller more manageable wave - "Fishermans" can often be found
Atmosphere
theres 2 main peaks, the left cornner (the reef) and the middle (the beach breack)
General
more experienced surfers head to the cornner the stay in the middle.thers not much differnce between the corrner and the middle people think its better because its a reef

and another thing.... - ffs quit with the campaigning for breaks to be listed here. Its only going to make things worse! That fact there arn't any is a GOOD THING! The details are wrong becuase there are tones of false and incorrect listings here becuase of the trouble they cause thoese who have to put up with everyone that flocks to areas putting others in danger. At the end of the day thoese who put the effort in rather than being spoonfed by places like this will be rewarded.

- Been living in england now for 6 years!grew up in portugal. Went for s session a few weeks back and i was let down by some locals.Telling me to get out the water. I have been surfing for 15 years and at my peak!although long time ago i was sponsored by rip curl. These guys ok were good but come on we are all here to do the same thing!looking after your spot is 1 thing but just think that the person u say it to might be just that bit better than u! Just enjoy ur time surfing cause you never know when it might end.Peace ubc

You guys know nothing. - OK, its pretty consitent in the winter, if there isnt a wave here, there won't be a wave anywhere else, unless u know the right spots ;-)just to be clear to who ever wrote the description of the place, it isnt a point break, and if it was how could it be a 'left & right'It isnt shark protected, becuase there isnt any sharks. It works best from mid - low tide and can only really handle upto a solid 4-5ft
