it really is worth checking as its a really fast peeling wave right inside the loughr estuary that works on a really big swell.you have to paddle along way out and its bigger than it looks from the shore, thats why every one thinks im talking s**t but if you wanna check it out with me it would be really cool as im sick of paddling nearly all the way to llaneill by myself,so call me on 01792 203191 and lets go ride some...serious adventure surfers only please

Sickness! - Is that the best photo you've got? Shouldn't have bothered in my opinion. But please shsh... about this wave, otherwise all you jacks will be sacking off the gower reefs and paddling over to the Llanelli side to steal our/the sickest waves in the North Atlantic. Lefts would be on your side of the estuary and Righthanders on mine see boyo.Surf Cymru am Byth!!!

SOME SICK RIDES TO BE HAD - if u do this so called 'PENCLAWDD REEF' ull have sum really cool rides !!!!
when the tides comin in you can end up in gowerton or if u judge it right lougher!!!
but the best ride is if the tides goin out!!! The possibilities are endless you have the choice of goin to crofty, llanrhidian, even llanmadoc BUT if your skillfull enough you can get accross the estury to the 'forbiden lands','turkland' or 'Llanelli' as they call it!!
i often make a good little journey down to Burry Port.
There's a legend between the Penclawdd Surfers Crew of a boy called JAMES SNELL. Who makes the trip to Freshwater every weekend!!! he times it to the very second and doesnt let anybody see him go. He takes a paked lunch made by mamma-biff and a photo of 'square-heads' older sister and cuzins Natalie,Rhianon + Sian !! legend has it that he leaves after the first high tide and comes back when the tide is on in again. It is said that he is back for tea which was supplied by biff or nowadays by the new curry house in Penclawdd!!!
dont try this if you have not been excepted into the crew as there are a few secret gutters you need to take!!!!!
