Before you start paddle to the break, a good idea is to ask a local surfer where to enter the spot and where to paddle out.
Atmosphere
During the winter storms it's probably the best spot to surf in israel. Very clean and glassy waves. The day after a storm is the best day to surf the spot- you can get barreled by a 6 foot glassy wave or even higher. Perfect Conditions.
General
No doubt, the best spot in Israel.

a small tip from a local - if u come to the casion i will give u a small tip and where to enter the water from and more important where to go out from. the casino is reef and its hard to get in the water because of the big stones.. but right next to the casino house there is a small place with sand if u go there its easier access to the water and u wont get cuts. have fun!

r e a l l y ? - ISRAEL HAVE WAVES, maybe israel isn't one of the best spots in the world, but i have to disagree with you.
the waves here aren't only wind-waves, also swell-waves. and yes, we have here 2m swell a couple of times in the year aspecially in January, and if you don't believe me, you can come to here and see for yourself!
i'm not saying israel is a very good spot to surf, israel doesnt compare to spots like Hawaii,Australia,America..
but it's really nice to surf here, and the waves are fine too.

WTF?! - I'm the one who took some of those pics on that relatively "big" winter day in 2002, but someone stole some of them and wrote it was an epic 8ft day. That's BS obviously. It's more like 4ft. Not cool to steal my pics off forums and post them as your own and add stupid ass titles with ludicrous wave heights. It's still a cool spot, though.
