drive to Eriz checkpoint to cross into gaza.Drive into gaza city and down to port. You have to go through Palestine Authority checkpoint, but they're cool if you are. Turn left once in and park inside harbour breakwater. walk over breakwater and beach break is right in front of you. Nice surprise the day we were there filming for TV show I work for to find 2-3 foot offshore beachbreak peaks. No local surfers apparently according to the guys I asked. and now.... - now, gaza will come back palestinien at least i hope !! so what i wish and what i dream about it's all the surf session with all the gaza people and more with the children... they are going to see the sea and the magical sensation of waves...meet everybody for a future peace session!!salam shalom

Gaza surfers - I am a Canadian television producer and I want to do a story on surfing in Gaza. Anybody has a lead who to talk to? A surf club? Surfing enthusiasts? I'm planning to visit and do the filming early January 2005.
