This spot is never really crowded because the beach is pretty long (3 miles) and the waves break about the same all along the beach. Tons of sandbar peaks. Can hold big swells (double overhead).
Atmosphere
This spot is not especially good for surfing, but is really good for body boarding and skim boarding.

locals - what out boy's and girls- this place brings back memories of the MLO - it's the greatest place in the world, but the 'locals only' vibe lingers.

Exactly like a 'Roach Motel' coz u can check always in, but never out! - There is something wrong with some beach breaks in Cali, this 1's a prime example of that bottom disorder, pulling in is usually Ok with virtually no way out. U can always take your chances with the belligerent/unruly locals of Trancas beach, slightly north of Zoo-ma's booma's, the walled sections there r slightly more ruler-edged; in contrast with the infamous local Trancash'tudes toward incoming Zumer-goons!

zuma sucks - zuma's awful...blown out, cold, closed out, and often crowded....i always have a better time at county line because it's a much better shaped wave, and cause mlo doesn't harass you..
your best bet at surfing in malibu is county line.
