RJ's = Barrels - Love this spot, worth the 1 hour commute down to the O.C. for me. Gets hallow when its firing. Good vibe, got barreled last summer there.

Based on Abililty - Surfed yesterday around Orange St. shortboard. Interesting how much space macho shortboarder gives compared to clueless logger Bolsa Chica. Much more of individualist's experience without the excessive dialogue. Glad to be able to experience both. Newport is cool. However, its not for all.
