Atmosphere
A consistent alternative to the very crowded area of Carlsbad/Oceanside/Leucadia & Encinitas. Occasional rights, mostly good lefts on any swell, best combo is during the late fall season. The park's solar heated showers are a fine bonus!

Stizz is a newcomer here! - From 1985-1987 I surfed tower 10 with half a dozen tourists or less, no matter what the season it was never crowded, the lefts were the feature and not much else in the park was worthwhile. Stizz is the nickname for any dudes who paddle-out with jizz still in their mouth, the latest Stizz dude was in kneepads when this spot was still a semi-secret left reefbreak.
