- I wish this spot wasnt posted. If you do paddle over be respectfull because us who live here on base and surf this spot everyday kind of claim it as our own.

If u pay attention 2 details here u will get@the facts. - 1st of all the author is a little tan boy named Matty, he's short enough to squeak past the radar on the base. 2nd fact is that anyone who's ever wasted time checking this perpetually closed-out shore-pound knows it only pounds sand & little else. 3rdly & last of all just look at how the photos where taken with a pix-phone, coz u can get excellent close-ups of the average tiny day - from the wet hard-pack sand by the ankle-slapping breakers - right on the beach there. Note: these shots were taken by this military brat's Mom b-4 going to the Outlet down the street 2 p/u little Matty some bak-2-school XSM surf-wear bargain/closeouts@up 2 50% less!

- The spot is a beach break, yea that and almost half of southern california. How does it make this a surfspot. The only worthwhile beach break in San Diego is Blacks Beach. Yea sandbars can make mediocre form from time to time elsewhere. But surfing sand and closeouts is not worth my time. Closeouts like that are for groms and nut draggers.
