Crowded in the water in summer, plenty of rental boards out, not as bad in fall, winter and spring. Can be really fun sometimes.

devo ricky - the pier and the old surfer motel is where I started surfing in '68. I can remember renting a board there and waxing it up and some dude in speedos with hair on his back eating seaweed told me I was doing it wrong. The wax goes on the bottom and the sand goes on top
