Easy and mushy right hander. Great for longboard cruising or learning. That's it. Always mushy.
Breaks right in town. Great views of the hills from the wave. Good place to get wet if you are too hungover to surf.

Learner's spot - 20+ years ago I first learned at Ledbetter. Don't let the posers on this page fool anybody. It's a long mushy break only good for learning - even then we called it "bedwetter". Only gets good during winter storms. SBCC: Let you go to class in you wetsuit unzipped to the waist back then. Thanks for the memories!

don't get no better - oh my god, Led's is a sic wave! I used to thinks mavs was about the sicest wave in ca until I started surfing leds. Bro I'm leds for life now

Ledbeatter schmedbetter - Dudesters, I Can't believe a J-bay like wave is in or midst. This place barrels like Refugio, (only better). Don't be fooled by the apparent lack of power. She's a mean beast my friends. Not to mention the gnarly local vibe. I got stink eye the whole time Iwas just watching it from the bluff, from the little old lady in the wheelchair.She ran over my toes and taized and pepper sprayed me. Told me to go back to the valley. Igot the message bros.
