The Road Washed out in 2004 and the spot is oficially off limits as it is on vandenbergf afb and they closed the road three years ago. there is a sign thats says dont go any further by order of high commander and thats like three miles from the beach. mountain bikers cross over there but ive been jailed once already for trespassing in the area.
Atmosphere
when you attempt to acess the spot, make sure the conditions are working.

If 50-yards of a Kirra-like, barreling right is what you're after; man r u gonna LOVE the 'lee'of Pt.Sal... - Here's the ONLY* catch; since
it's tri-athalon tough to get there w/out 1st enlisting in the USAF, & getting stationed@Vandenberg AFB.
*the catch=If you can get there as a civilian, crossing PtSal's 2,000 ft.high mountain ridge, or make your way AROUND the outside of the 5-mile headland(which is 2K high all the way up to the northern Santa Maria side's wilderness areas); well then you'll deserve every empty, perfect, glassy, & chilly barrell you'll get--w/prevailing winds being consistently offshore--ALOHA MY BROTHERS & MUCH MAHALO 2 YA!

Magic Bus - If you are into having your water dumped out after a long hot walk, this is the place for you. Some jerks dumped my water out before the cops kicked us out.
