Reef break with emphasis on the rights. Best on a solid west swell, north swells can't wrap in. Not epic but fun waves can be had with occasional long workable lines, some tubes at low tide. At it's best resembles a good right point break.
Atmosphere
A good place to beat crowds. Though when Naples is on so are most other waves which are often better.
General
A nice stretch of coast. Isolated and peaceful. Not much of a beach left at high tide. Plans are for development of the area.

this place is worth a look - naples reef is a strange bird but can get really fun. its just another spot along the gaviota coast that can get good but more often than not you will end up getting skunked. You will be able to find this spot because you will see 100+ cars parked on the side of the little access road off off the 101 just north of goleta, if there is swell rumor you will also see people with boards walking back and forth across the cow fields. just follow those people.
