This spot is a perfect peak and can be insane.
It is, however, off of an Air Force base and close to a space launch site. Although it would normally be a major world-class wave, no one is allowed to surf there. None the less, there's no harm in trying, particularily if you have a boat.
Note: It is often blown out and can often be too big and stormy here in the winter. Purisima Point does provide some sheltering. Keep an eye on the weather if you're in a boat!
Atmosphere
Why oh why does the Air Force have to sit on this and so many other amazing spots at Vandenberg? Many miles of amazing reefs and beaches.
General
At least the area is kept pristine by the Air Force, just beautiful. Think California 100 years ago, untouched! (Except for the odd space launch site).

Suspension - Another fun fact is the Waterwomens Association suspends you for a year if you ask questions about the club or critize the decision making. All about love and peace brother. Mahalo, suck D!CK and choke on it.

Addict with an Ego - Only a true douche would make a comment like that. If you want to be associated with an ego maniac by all means. If you are a true poser don't surf, because that is what you are all about, LOSER. I can't wait for the day when you get your @ss beat!

Surfing On Vandenberg AFB - Hi guys, we have a Private Organization on base that we recently established called the "Waterman's Association". We are not the other surf club that people are referring to in this thread but we don’t jump on the band wagon to bash them either. If you have questions on eligibility and you want the scoop straight from the horse's mouth add “VAFB Waterman's Association" to your face book and we’ll help you better understand what is true and what is just crazy hype. Our mission is to comply with all the rules of the base and have some fun surfing. If you are reading this and you are one of those angry people who are butt hurt by everything in life please don't leave a comment, just go surf. Mahalo Nui
