Atmosphere
Quite a few folks from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo go to this spot on weekends. But the access is good, and there are a lot of good days.

- You guys are catching it at wrong times, during the summer? yes it usually is very mediocre, but the fall and winter? fucking solid and there's no lineups either.

not TOO bad - Yeah, this spot normally sucks, but I passed through in mid Feb 09, and it must have been some epic day or something, cause it looked really fun! Couldn't F&^%#n believe it...

- these directions are completely wrong. if you're driving northbound this spot is PAST (north of) Refugio.
The spot a lot of people are talking about has a bunch of names (depending on how old you are) and isn't really very good. Of course SB is odd... I've seen days where the only thing working was Santa Claus... so ya know...
