Just watch out for our finned friends. There are many places where you here rumors of sharks to keep people away, This is not one of them. They are out there and your chances of seeing them are very likely.
Atmosphere
This spot is easily effected by wind and other conditions. Usually only good on nice sunny days with no wind. If you ever catch this place on a good day you can thank your lucky stars you are in for a treat. Very nice veiw of california's most beutiful stretch of coast. My most favorite session of all time was had right around the corner from the parking lot.
General
I love and hate this spot because I usually am surfing alone. And if I see this spot going off and no friend with me I usually pass it up.

LOOK OUT ! - This place is as sharky as it gets ....a diver was devoured at pidgion pt in the eightys . We used to surf this place on desperate small summer days ........always had that creepy feeling but SURF . One of the great things about this whole strech from big sur to the city one can almost always find some surf . ALWAYS ! Good luck !
