Look at the map or just look out to sea from Doran 1 mile away is a rocky island off of bodega head. long lefts peel arround it on big days. like (Indo tubes) from hwy 1 take a left down to porto bodega hang a right and follow that road all the way to bodega head then paddle across the channel and enjoy! The Island is surfed! - This place does go OFF!!No need for tow with a boil takeoff then wide openfaced to a huge jacking double-barrel shotgun of a left. I hear it's easier than the paddle over in terms of sharky-ness!

Crazy Spot - I've seen some crazy perfect waves out here, BUT, you have to paddle across a deep SHARKY channel, and I think if you blow the takeoff you are headed directly into the rocks - which look sharp. Looks to have the potential to be a great tow-in spot.
