RE: Your Shark Sightings - Ok all, yes....there are sharks in the ocean. BUT, keep in mind that Arnolds is what?...a few miles north of Pt. Mugu (AKA a seal breeding ground) with a North flowing current. So yeah a dead seal may wash up from time to time. Second, when was the last shark attack in Ventura Co.?? Last I heard was in 1998 on a Kayaker. My point is, don't worry about it..and hey if one does get you..at least you get the honor of sacraficing yourself to the most perfect hunter created by nature while doing something you love. But if you all do see one, go grab one of the thieves around the cars and toss them in the water.

Oh Shit!! 5/24/09 - Went for a run from Point Hueneme Pier to the fence at Arnold this morning. There was a dead seal on the beach down by the power plant with a 12" diameter bite out of it! I believe in karma, so I'm NOT LYING! There are sharks out here!

CAUTION - If its good you can see it from the south park lot of heuneme + it may be good by the peir but always better down at arnolds. Best to park there and walk the 2-3 miles down, I know a lot of fools who have gotten ripped off parking by the fence, unless you leave your 2 pit bulls in the car it's a good chance and even more if you have a fancy car.
