Park close to the bait shop on pier. Best sand bars are right against the pier on either side.
Atmosphere
Easy going and relaxed. When a hurricane swell comes and is epically clean, surfers still are letting the semi-cooks try and get a wave. The surf rarely gets up that you would brag about it though. Really a great spot to learn.

my home spot - this spot is about 5 minutes from my house and i love surfing here. im still learning and this is a good spot to begin on.peace

- ive ben surfing this break for 8 years and the kooks need to get out and learn at another spot its getting old.
