This spot has some good power. Waves jack up on a long shallow sand bar. Longer rides that at the piers. On a big clean swell, rides can be really good. Better that Bob's, no crowds and more waves. But you have to catch it right.
Atmosphere
One of the better spots in Central texas. Has some really solid days. More variety in days that you can surf it. if there is a current, walk the wall and bust a drift.
General
If there are waves, you can catch them here.

favorite spot - this is my favorite spot, it's nice and empty and after you surf you can just go chill in the hot tub at the holiday inn!

Nothing New - You guys act like no one has ever heard of these surf spots. I grew up in Dallas and have surfed and known about all these places since the 1960's, its just the new generation of Texas surfers think that they are the only ones who know. And as far as wave form the best formed Texas wave I have ever seen was in Galveston 1980. Does not happen very often, 2nd to that would be the cove in SPI. COOL BEANS MAN!
