Beware of a rock that sticks out of the water when the wave sucks up, best thing to do is wait and watch it then sit just off it, the locals sit the other side of it and get barreled of it. Locals are a bit hardcore but show respect and you will get waves for sure. When you get out theres a shower across the road in a garden wall which all can use

watch out - for the big rock out there. theres one big rock you might get stuck on if you hit it right. its kinda hard to paddle away when youre stuck on a rock, so you might get crushed by the wave. so, just watch out for it!

lymans is so worth it - Surfed lymans in April 04 and had a blast. Fun left with a big face. Real consistant. All of the Locals were super cool. If anyone had problems they brought them there. Real cool guy lives just across the road (cant remeber his name) offered to fix the ding i got first paddle out. Watch locals paddle out first! cause it's kinda tricky. Gotta climb aroud some bushes to a tiny little black sand beach to get out without f**king up your board. Plus if you get tired of lefts just paddle north to banyans. Live aloha

mellow - Went there this August after spending 10 days in the madness of S Oahu breaks, bagged a nice little swell.Locals were very tolerant of sketchy English guy on a rented board,in fact super mellow and had a great session with them shouting me onto waves, though the rock/coral head is a bit of a shock as you take off over it
