Park near the boat launch...very local so dont bring anything you dont want borrowed.

Jump in and feel the thermals from the lava. Very Very warm though cooler as you approach the peak.

Vibed out....... - This is the only place that I sensed a disturbance in the force. I'm not talking about the locals & other people. I'm talking a spiritual thing, I felt like something was watching me from the palm trees....paddling out through warm water (underground hot springs?) & rough lava, then waiting for waves over a dark bottom...there is something special about this place. Something very heavy went down here, I just do not know the history of this spot.

Very special place - Had a great couple of weeks here- surfed every day; sometimes heavy, sometimes nearly flat but this is a majestic break. Locals are super sweet, resident haole's can be . Lots of respect for the ladies. No bad vibes here on Second Bay. Had my very best wave ever at Bowls. A little stink eye vibe from a few younger locals but overall the BEST surf trip I've ever taken. MAHALO!
