differences winter and summer - summer surf .reef appears at the left side of the bay and it will only break at the point that's with a south swell. unless there's a little west to help push the swell into the bay. but during the winter the north or northwest swell will bring peak's into the bay and if you pick the right wave you can take off at the point and ride it to the shore. the point is called lahilahi. the point will handle a 4ft. perfect peak to a 20 ft. perfect peak depends how strong the swell is.
