Mean left into a wedge that forms off of a cliff wall with pali size tubes. Well maybe not that big, but they are pretty solid. I guess you could call it baby wedge like Cali. Only bodysurfing and bodyboarding unless you like to break your surfboard.
Atmosphere
Just a long time local spot where I grew up surfing. Actually everyone in my family grew up surfing there dating back to my gradma. Usually just locals go there but sometimes get one caucasian. I've seen a few get kicked out and some allowed to stay so you take your chance.
General
I love this place. If you like to pull in and get slammed or catch big airs then it's for you.

Good old Pounders - Steep belly drop, hollow barrel cave, closed door, dive back or eat sand, smile and take another. Good times at Pounders.

Reminds me of a mini makapu'u - This breaks like a cross between keiki cornerz @ makapu'u and middlez and chamberz at sandyz. Good fun and vibez out here as long as you're not a dick and give at least as many waves as you get. It doesn't get big very often though. Really good skimboarding on the shoreline going mauka, away from the crowd opposite the rocks and bluff.
