Recommendations - It's time to start my 13 year old surfing. We live in norcal with very cold water. I would like him to have a chance to surf daily and get to the pt. where he can have fun. Thinking of taking him to Waikiki. Would appreciate any advice on a economical place to stay not on the beach but within walking distance with a kitchenette. Thanks for the help.
