Additional Information
When you get the right wave at this spot it throws out. Lots of boxy pits. plenty of fun. Usually a pretty late drop, then pull up quick for the pit - get spat and then some waves will line up on the inside.
There's also some pretty wedgy lefts. The place is real shifty.
Atmosphere
Look out for the GWIBs (Genuine Westside Inbreds) they'll be out when it's good. The place stinks like a sewer (like most of the westside does)
I think theres a pig farm in land a little ways

Makua - Cuz, yesterday I almost got eaten by a big ass shark. don't go out there or you might make!(that's die to all you haoles.)P.S. watch out your car don't get robbed by some tweaker!Better yet just stay home and stay safe!

Fickle perfection - Ranches gets crowded now, even on weekdays. The boulders rolling around the shorebrak seem to keep the fainthearted on shore, but the perfect rights are hard to resist. If you dont live there, be polite and watch your car...
