Located right next to Lido West in front of the first condo, Condos is a wave used for surfers when Lido West is overhead and blown to bits by stormy slop waves paired with hurricane swells. You will get a decent right hander right off the jetty during very southerly swell. Most of the time the wave sux, but if Lido west is overcrowded and blown out, go to Condos. Additional Information
Park at Lido West, get to the sand and walk toward the first Condo toward Long Beach. Look around and determine where the waves are breaking, usually they break right next to the beach. I they break by the jetty your in luck!
Atmosphere
The general Lido beach experience is strange. There are days when Lido is totally dominated by real a-hole locals that do not give anyone that they don't know waves. There are also days that give you awsome waves with really cool, good surfers that you have a good time with. Mostly, there is something wrong between the wind blowing to hard from the east or west or the waves crapping out.

ESCONLIDO - Lido West is definitly one of the best spots on western L.I. If its 3-7 foot and offshore there is nowhere else to be. As for "condos" it really is lido west you drift that way anyway but sometimes when its really crowded at the main peak out front its empty. I surfed "condos" early september this year and it was the best ive ever had it perfect 3-4 foot little barrels. It's true though about lido sometimes it can have a awsome vibe and then other times theres a bunch of jerks. but for the most part lido west is awsome, screw lincoln its to crowded.

nice. - Alright, I have no clue what to make of the first comment on this spot called "Condos", but I guess Condos is the same thing as AZORES. The spot is called Azores now, or thats what its called by us locals.

Wrong name - Only kooks give names to surf spots that already have names. Azores is not now, nor was it ever called "condos".
