Cupsogue is pretty fun, it gets nasy because its hella close to the moriches inlet. A fun short ride, can get pretty big, but they get sloppy very easily.
Atmosphere
some locals, but their nothing that special anyway

used to be good - Cupsogue used to be good about 3 years ago. But now it sucks. I want the old beach back!

ha - if your not puss enough to get on a wave runner and go outside the inlet, the sand got dragged out alot from these past storms, awesome break out there, and all down the beach at low to mid tide.

its ight - Yeah I never surfed it when it was good, but I've heard stories. Let it be known this isn't a break to make a regular spot. Take your kids to it to teach them if you want, but it's not worth the parking fee and the crowds to surf half decent waves.
