Once your in Cape May just head towards the beach, when your on beach drive(the road closest to the ocean) just head east until you see gurney street. There's the conventional hall and Henry's restuarant on the beach off the boardwalk which you can also see from the street. in the summer you'll need to have beach tags, if you dont mind a 3 foot drop just walk up on convention hall and jump off onto the beach to avoid the taggers.

On Stock theres a jetty on the right side theres nice waves breaking off of the end tip of the rock pile. Sit directly infront of of jsut slightly off to the side. The left side is slightly larger waves but they are beachbreak. An easy way to get our is to paddle out on the left side. During lowtide sit farther out due to the sand piles up on the side of the jetty once you stand and turn youll be in enough water that you wont wreck your board. Parking in the summer is almost impossible, youll ahv eto park a few blocks away. Durring the winter time though there's only locals and parking is free and everywhere.

Atmosphere
When the right swell comes in Stockon goes off and has some nice tubes, this may only happen 10-15 times a year though. If your ever in Cape May and it seems that every surf beach is packed full of surfers or bodyboarders just take a look here and youll find that theres always less people and still nice waves. Only a few locals go out and are nt rude unless you dont know how to surf correctly then id suggest going to the cove. Overall the beach is nice and clean, and just down the street is Southend one of the two surf shops in Cape May.

General
To me Stockon is my favorite spot in Cape May, its where i learned to surf and yet i still go there due to the fun waves. Even if the waves looks small there always able to be riden here. Rarley ever is their beachbreack.
