 Additional Information

This spot is great when breaking, can be fickle do to tide and swell direction but when breaking it is a fun place to be, can get hollow and line-up often. The main peak is a left and right A-frame, as well as a left down of some rocks at the North end of the beach. Locals can be pain but don't mind them and you'll be alright. Only down side is that it prefers to break during the fall, winter, and spring making for cold conditions 4-3mm or better!

Atmosphere

Quiet strip of beach, can feel secluded if you are one of the few people surfing. Had many great days at Green Hill. Just make sure you show up after a deep-low pressure system in the winter or a tropical storm in the summer.

Bustin' down the myth about local snipers pickin' off the tourists. - Some fool started a rumor about a 'grassy knoll' near the beach, when its only a green hill!

Green Hill Locals - I've surfed GH since the late '70's and I never had a problem with the lokes. In fact I got to know and hang with a few of them. The waves are like most in that area (okay at best), but it's a great place. I've lived in L.A. since the 80's - you want to talk about local wankers? Try heading west 3000 miles.
