Access
Access to this spot is tricky, but well worth it. Pinched Loaf is at the far west east end of the Cleveland Harbor breakwall. It can be seen on google earth. One way to get there is to park at the E.72 st. boat launch. Follow the edge of the water east until you reach the fence. There is a large opening in the fence. Go though and head east on any trail that you see. They all go to the same place. Cross the wooded area to the breakwall. Another way is from Bratenahl. There is a condo development on Lake avenue...this is the closest access to the break.
As of FALL 2009 The Loaf is back. New dredging has resurrected the sandbar!
