Atmosphere
If you are just learning its a great place to start lots of first timers out that dont know what there doing so u can just mix in with them , For the more Adavnced Surf it gets really annoying alot of people cut you off and its exemterly crowd , but when the surfs pounding most of the rookies sit on the beach
General
Its pretty fun wave on a good day great place to learn the crowds thin out alot leaving only locals during the winter and thats when we get most of are swell the water is ball freezing cold but its a fun wave

??? - the old guys think they rule, very crowded for such weak waves, they get mad just cuz you are there. whatever. i only surf there because of the easy access. this virginia surf is not anything to write home to mom about. im just trying to get adjusted to riding such slow waves, though when Bertha sent waves i have to admit it was quite fun and less crowded. longboarders catch most so just paddle hard and rip!

Becareful if you're hard of hearing.... - If you have hearing problems, I don't recommend coming here. It's quite crowded and not only that, the surfers can become punchy and having problems hearing might just ruin your day.
