watch out for cops strolling the beach shoreline from friday-sunday,11-4. They might give you a tiket if they see you surfing. Shows how much the city likes it locals.
Atmosphere
this place(when it has good waves)is very glassy clean and nice out. most of the people are pretty nice but rememember that you are a guest at this beach and locals only like you if u stay clear out of of there way.

best surf ever - fishermans island was absolutly going off today!!! chest to head freight train barrels right through the bridge tunnel... I surfed it with 3 other people... everything you ever heard about the place is true, it is an epic world class wave... ps i didnt take a boat
